JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an afterschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities, both independently and together with your colleagues in your work team. You actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where each student has the opportunity to develop based on their abilities. The position also includes teaching physical education to preschool class students. A central part of the role is to inspire, motivate, and support students' learning and social development through creative, meaningful, and educational activities. You contribute to creating good conditions for students' participation, well-being, and knowledge development throughout the day. To succeed in the role, you have good knowledge of the afterschool program's governing documents and work systematically with documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of activities. You are engaged in the school's development and quality work and see the value of continuously developing the activities together with colleagues to meet students' needs and strengthen goal achievement. QUALIFICATIONS You must have a teaching credential for afterschool programs. Another person with pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may be considered. You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. You must be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professionals you meet in your profession. You should have basic knowledge of Office365.
