Description We are now seeking two licensed after-school teachers at Brottkärrsskolan, with one position being permanent and one position being a temporary assignment for the school year 2026/2027. Job Responsibilities As an after-school teacher, you will primarily work at the after-school program where you lead and stimulate students in their learning and personal development in a constructive and inspiring manner based on each student's individual conditions. You plan, carry out, and follow up on after-school activities together with your colleagues on the team. The Permanent Position Your main assignment is as an after-school teacher with a music focus. During the school day, you will be attached to a class at the primary or intermediate level The position is full-time and permanent Start date immediately or by agreement The Temporary Assignment Your main assignment is work in the after-school program During the school day, you will work in a pre-primary class The position is full-time and temporary for the school year 2026/2027 Start date immediately or by agreement To ensure that newly graduated teachers have the best possible start in the profession, you will participate in Gothenburg's primary school administration's introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed after-school teacher. Previous experience working as an after-school teacher is a merit. For the temporary position, previous experience and work as a recreation leader or preschool teacher is also a merit. If you have another pedagogical education, this is interesting and welcome. As a person, you are calm and stable and have the ability to create a safe environment for all students. You are driven by collaboration with others and are skilled at building good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Your creativity is contagious and creates engagement and motivates learning. You are happy to contribute ideas and new ways of thinking to continuously move the activities forward. You have the ability to maintain both safety and a productive learning environment both in and outside school. You use a range of methods to include all students and are prepared to try and constantly reconsider your methods to meet the needs of the group your team is responsible for.
