Göteborg's elementary school administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class through ninth grade, special education elementary school, cultural school, and after-school programs. The administration oversees 162 municipal elementary schools where almost 61,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has approximately 9,700 employees who work together to develop and manage the operation - together we pave the way for the school of the future. The school is situated in a lush and beautiful area with plenty of fine outdoor environments. The school, built in 1897, has been renovated and expanded into modern and functional facilities. We are looking for someone who wants to work at the after-school program and plan fun and educational activities for the children. You will mainly work in one of the after-school program's sections, but will have close collaboration with the other sections to create equity and to share experiences and knowledge. During the school day, you will collaborate with teachers in a class or grade level. We would particularly like it if you have the opportunity to teach music to third grade twice a week. It is therefore beneficial if you would also consider doing this. Qualifications You have a primary teacher degree with a specialization in after-school programs. Those of you who are studying in your final term to become a teacher in after-school programs and are expected to complete your degree in spring 2026 are also welcome to apply. We also welcome applications from those who are not yet qualified teachers. To be considered, we see that you can teach music, have experience working in after-school programs, and have the ability to open or close the operation if needed.
