Description Annedalsskolan is now hiring an after-school teacher! We offer a full-time permanent position for someone who wants to help create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful program for our students. Annedalsskolan is an F-6 school (grades K-6) with just over 330 students. The school was built as early as 1883 in the district and has been completely renovated in recent years. You'll find the school below the steep Guldheds Hill, near Nilssonsberg and Skanstorget, with convenient access to nature, culture, and transportation. At Annedalsskolan, we work with the PALS school model, which means we systematically focus on recognizing positive behavior and ensure that we adults serve as positive role models. Responsibilities As an after-school teacher, you play an important role in supporting students' social development and creating an environment characterized by joy, safety, and respect. You are responsible for planning and implementing educational activities both outdoors and indoors, and you work thematically with everything from creative activities and movement to values education and environmental awareness. You collaborate closely with the school's other teachers and help create continuity between school and after-school time. Your work takes place both during school hours and during after-school time, before and after the school day as well as during school breaks. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified after-school teacher. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in after-school programs. Certification in art and/or music is also a plus. As a person, you take responsibility for your own tasks and the group's tasks. You think about those we serve and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the results. You have a good understanding of how individuals learn and their different circumstances. You adapt your way of communicating your message to the audience and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. We also see that you are driven and development-oriented.
