Teacher in After-School Program with Development Responsibility, Adapted Primary School

We are looking for someone who sees possibilities for all students to develop and can stimulate and adapt based on their individual needs. You have a positive view of students and collaborate well with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are flexible and have a strong interest and drive to work together with other staff members to develop the school. Together we create a school where every student can develop based on their own conditions. In this role, based on your competence and experience, you will be a key person in working to develop the after-school program's quality within the adapted primary school. Part of this involves developing pedagogical work, and another part involves responsibility for ongoing staffing of the activity through scheduling and recruitment of substitutes. Work Tasks You are responsible for scheduling and recruitment of substitutes for the after-school program. You will together with management be responsible for developing the activity by planning, organizing, following up, and evaluating work based on, among other things, the curriculum. You will continuously lead meetings with after-school staff and other colleagues and be driving in the work group's quality improvement efforts. Based on decisions by the EHT, you will be a resource person during school hours as part of your role. Based on possible organizational changes in Vänersberg Municipality, teaching in individual subjects may become relevant in the future. Certification in music is a merit. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified after-school teacher. You are expected to be clear and structured, able to involve students and colleagues, and able to put teaching in a context so that students understand. You have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. Given that you will be responsible for developing the activity and guiding your colleagues in this work, it is required that you have several years of documented experience in after-school programs and enjoy working in this type of role.
