Your Assignment
As an after-school program teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in the after-school program in accordance with the curriculum goals. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically.
You work in the after-school program and collaborate with the school's other staff during the school day. With your expertise in sports and movement, you plan and lead activities that promote joy of movement, participation, and community. You also play a central role in the school's efforts with active recess periods and help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where students are offered meaningful activities throughout the day.
Work tasks include:
Plan, implement, and follow up on instruction and activities in the after-school program and recess activities.
Provide pedagogical support to students during school time as a resource in the classroom.
Create structure and security through clear leadership.
Collaborate with guardians, colleagues, and other professionals at the school.
Participate in systematic quality work and contribute to the development of operations.
Your Experience
We are looking for you who:
Are trained and licensed as an after-school program teacher.
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Have good knowledge and insight into the school's governing documents and implement them in your daily work.
Have experience planning, organizing, and conducting after-school and recess activities.
Have good didactic and pedagogical ability that your planning and teaching are based on.
Can independently conduct instruction in one or more subjects if needed.
Are a competent swimmer, as you will participate when children have swimming lessons.
It is advantageous if you:
Have experience working with inclusive learning environments and have good knowledge of NPF.
