Then you might be the one we're looking for! Donsö School is a small school with approximately 130 students from preschool class through grade six. We have an after-school care program for students in preschool class through grade 4. At the after-school care, students enjoy meaningful leisure time before and after school. Teaching is based on students' needs, interests, experiences, and initiatives. We have the after-school care unit Bryggan and morning care in the unit Skeppet. Work Responsibilities In addition to being an after-school care teacher, you will be responsible for physical education instruction for three middle school classes and work as a resource in our flexible program. As an after-school care teacher with us, you collaborate with guardians, work teams, and other school staff as well as student support services. At the after-school care, you are responsible for ensuring diverse educational activities, including both structured and free play, and offering various materials and learning environments to stimulate students' desire to play and learn. You work to promote students' social development and simultaneously work practically to help students achieve learning objectives, viewing this as a natural part of daily activities. In our school area, we have four schools that work together for students' benefit: Asperöskolan, Brännöskolan, Donsöskolan, and Styrsöskolan. We work together to foster good collegial exchange and increased quality. Qualifications We seek someone who is a certified after-school care teacher with certification in physical education and health. It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching. You have the ability to work together with others to complete tasks and reach goals. At these small units, we work closely together, and you easily adapt yourself and your work approach based on changed circumstances. You can therefore quickly adjust your perspective and approach.
