About the Workplace Position: Afterschool Program Teacher with focus on Sports and Health Location: Ellös School Ellös School is located on the western part of Orust. A school where the sea and forest are right beside us. Ellös School currently has 140 students. We are a single-stream school with two afterschool program units. Our vision at Ellös School is that we are expected, curious, dare, and want to succeed. Our primary goal is for all students to feel safe and content, as well as to learn in an enjoyable way. We prioritize continuity and encourage our students to dare to try new things. Through collaboration, social competence, and independence, we aim to prepare our students for continued success in their education. We have certified teachers and other educational support staff in our operations. In addition to school and afterschool educators, we have special education teachers, school psychologists, school nurses, and counselors. The school psychologist is available to the operation once per month. Working at a small school requires you to be solution-focused and flexible, which makes the job extra stimulating. Your Responsibilities You will work both in the classroom and in the afterschool program. This means you need to be comfortable planning your own projects and themes, and take responsibility for the unit's planning together with colleagues. You collaborate with the classroom teacher and are active in the joint and overall planning for afterschool activities and sports at the school. You also contribute to the systematic quality work at the unit, which includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and analysis. You will be part of the afterschool team.
