The school is beautifully located at the forest edge and just a stone's throw from the sea. There is access to a swimming hall, artificial turf pitch, and ski trails. The pedagogical work is characterized by conscious leadership, engagement, and collaboration between staff, students, parents, and afterschool care. The focus is safety and learning. Employment Information The position is a temporary assignment, part-time 85%, starting 2026-09-01 through 2027-06-04. Your Responsibilities Your task as a teacher in afterschool care is to offer meaningful leisure time where you start from the students' needs, interests, and initiatives while also inspiring new discoveries. Together with your colleagues, you offer students a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments where care and learning are integrated. You collaborate with educators in preschool class and in school to contribute to students' goal achievement. Contact and cooperation with guardians are also important parts of the work. About You You are well familiar with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary instruction and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who has the ability to connect with students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by letting them participate and come with their own suggestions. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills with colleagues and external parties. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Requirements Licensed teacher/applied for teacher licensure with credentials to teach in afterschool care Experience working in schools Valid criminal record check Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written We warmly welcome your application!
