About Amerikanska Gymnasiet, Stockholm - Essingen - The school is now in its 6th academic year. - The school has approximately 600 students studying the Natural Science and Technology Program, Economics Program, or Social Sciences Program. - The school is characterized by a competent teaching team and a strong sense of community. About the Role As a teacher, you will teach French to our students. We are also looking for a teacher who can teach Leadership and Organization, and we would appreciate if teaching in these subjects could be combined within the same position. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons according to our pedagogical structure, which you will receive guidance on. You will teach in a digital environment with digital learning materials in combination with traditional literature. Teaching is conducted in both Swedish and English. Shared mentorship of a class is also included in the position. The position is a permanent employment at 30-55%, where the extent will be determined by which courses you are able to teach. Teaching takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Your Profile For this position, it is required that you hold a Swedish teaching certification with authorization to teach French. It is also advantageous if you have experience teaching at the upper secondary level. We also wish that you have experience enabling you to teach Leadership and Organization. You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
