Description
Bjurslättskolan is located in Kvillebäcken, near Wieselgrensplatsen in central Hisingen, in an expanding neighborhood where old meets new in a mixed socioeconomic area around the school. The school includes preschool class, grades 1-6, adapted primary school, and after-school care. Approximately 650 students attend the school and about 100 staff members work there. The school has one principal and three assistant principals, each responsible for their own section: grades F-3, grades 4-6, and adapted primary school.
Work Tasks
We are now looking for a teacher for grades F-3 who wants to help develop our activities further together with other staff members. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.
You work to continually develop instruction based on current curriculum documents and students' needs. Documenting, analyzing, planning, and following up on student results is part of your work, both individually and together with your colleagues.

The position is permanent and is a substitute position.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades F-3. If you have documented teaching experience, we see that as a merit, but we also welcome those who are new to the profession. You are well-grounded in our curriculum documents and use a scientific approach.
You get energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You work effectively under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations and work in a low-affect manner.
