The Division is divided into four operations. The Business Unit supports and develops the local business sector by creating conditions for growth. Culture and Libraries, with the City Library, Kulturskolan, art activities and the Children's Culture Center, provide residents with experiences that enrich their leisure time and create conditions for democracy. Nyköping Tourism develops the visitor industry and markets Nyköping to visitors and residents as an attractive destination. Nyköping Arenas coordinates and organizes cultural and sports events, concerts and festivals. They also operate arenas, facilities and youth centers for young people and collaborate with associations and organizers on local, national and international levels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Nyköping Municipality is seeking active, engaged and responsible teachers who want to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. You are ideally a trained violin teacher with piano as a secondary instrument who loves exploring music with children and teenagers aged 4-19 together with the string department team. You enjoy challenging yourself and find it exciting to discover different perspectives and creative solutions to turn varying conditions into inspiration and stimulation.
For all ages, you are open to students' thoughts and wishes and see them as a resource. You need a strong desire and special ability to meet different age groups—introducing young children to music and ensemble interests through joyful play, and engaging older students through various styles while producing and participating in different concerts and performances.
QUALIFICATIONS
You ideally hold a university degree with violin as your primary instrument, and it is an asset if you have experience with secondary instruments such as piano and teaching young children. It is also advantageous if you have led development or collaborative music projects and can demonstrate good results from these efforts.
You are communicative and humble with clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate students' wishes into your work. A positive view of people and ability to build good relationships with both children and adults is a given for you. Teaching includes violin, ensemble and possibly piano as a secondary instrument for ages 4-19. You are comfortable with the various digital platforms used in modern society.
This position involves working with children and young people and therefore requires a criminal record certificate.
