Pajala Central School is now seeking an engaged and creative art teacher for grades 4–9 who wants to be part of developing teaching and contributing to students' knowledge development and creative joy. 1 position(s). DUTIES As an art teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on art instruction for students in grades 4-9. You work based on the curriculum and create an inspiring learning environment where students develop their creative, communicative, and analytical abilities. • Plan, implement, and evaluate art instruction. • Assess and document students' knowledge development. • Create a safe, inclusive, and creative learning environment. • Actively participate in team work and the school's development efforts. • Collaborate with colleagues, student support services, and guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Is a certified teacher with authorization to teach art for grades 4-9. • Has good pedagogical skills and clear classroom leadership. • Is engaged, flexible, and works well in collaboration. • Has strong ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. If no qualified teacher applies, an unqualified candidate may be considered for a fixed-term position. In that case, a high school diploma is required. For employees with vocational preparation upper secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish; therefore, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
