Description Slottsbergsskolan is a new school that opened in fall 2020. Starting fall 2026, we will be a K-6 school that grows progressively from the bottom with one grade level per year. There is a pioneering spirit that permeates our operations where we learn and develop together. We work with grade levels that are then divided into smaller groups based on students' needs and the facilities the grade level uses in its hub. We have many different rooms and group rooms available in each hub. Slottsbergsskolan also has access to a gymnasium, school library, craft workshops, and a room for creative work and art. Meals are prepared on-site in our school cafeteria, and the school is close to Ruddalen's outdoor recreation area. At Slottsbergsskolan, the student is at the center and all staff work together to build a shared value base and school culture from a salutogenic perspective. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a teacher for grades 4-6 who can teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, English, and Mathematics. Together with your colleagues, you will create the conditions for students' knowledge development to reach curriculum goals. You will plan, implement, and evaluate pedagogical work and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. You will take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development. You will contribute to collaborative learning and pedagogical work and develop instruction for higher goal achievement. We place special focus on creating accessible learning environments for all students, because we believe that all students will succeed if they can! Qualifications We seek someone who is a certified teacher with credentials to teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, English, and Mathematics in grades 4-6. Broader subject competency is an advantage. You have experience working as a teacher in grades 4-6. At the school we work in a two-teacher system, which requires strong collaboration skills and a collegial approach where you jointly plan, implement, and develop instruction. You work systematically, clearly, and with composure in your interactions with students, and you truly believe that students will succeed if they can. You are well-versed in our governing documents, and students' learning and the development of instruction are your primary focus in harmony with students' well-being.
