Your Responsibilities Teaching Finnish. You will be part of the Modern Languages subject team and together you will co-plan and develop instruction. What We're Looking For You are a certified teacher of Finnish for grades 7-9. Being a teacher and professional educator at Manhem School means you have high expectations and believe that all students can succeed based on their individual abilities. We're looking for someone who has the ability to motivate and create engagement while being a clear leader. You are confident in yourself and through your way of leading and organizing, you create a safe and educational classroom environment. Good judgment and high integrity are important as we want you to be a role model for the students. We're looking for someone who is communicative and has the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, students, guardians, and other people involved in the student's life. Your pedagogical strength is the ability to adapt instruction based on results, evaluations, and each individual student's needs. To achieve this, you need a good understanding of how different people absorb information and knowledge, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching style at both group and individual levels. We're looking for someone who is aware of your own impact on student learning. By drawing on students' interests, you make instruction engaging, and in your interactions with students, you develop yourself and your role as a teacher.
