Kunskapsskolan Saltsjöbaden is an elementary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 260 students. The school is located in a nature-rich area on Observatoriebacken in Saltsjöbaden. Our school has satisfied students who thrive and achieve high academic results. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and therefore we are looking for someone who actively works to ensure that your students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a personal mentor to about twenty students and you have mentoring conversations with your students each week. You help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on the goals together with both the students and their guardians. At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced teamwork culture. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan our work in work teams and subject teams. There is great openness among teachers and we share collective responsibility for our students. Qualifications We are looking for a certified teacher in Swedish and possibly other subjects for grades 4-6. We would appreciate it if you have several years of experience in teaching and mentoring or coaching. We want you to be someone who collaborates easily with colleagues, students, and guardians and is solution-focused. We place great value on your commitment, your pedagogical skills, and your mentoring abilities. We want you to be a stable and trustworthy person who can build confidence with the students.
