Your Role As a teacher in the afterschool program, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for instruction in the afterschool setting, by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and intentions in the operation. Your primary assignment is afterschool program activities with school collaboration during the school day. You work with the student/child in focus and maintain a permissive approach. The assignment includes developing work within the team and contributing to good collaboration and strong relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Your Knowledge and Experience We are looking for you to help develop our operations. You do this by enabling students to test and develop ideas, solve problems and put ideas into action, taking into account personal needs for balance between activity and rest. It is also important that you inspire the creation and maintenance of good relationships and collaborate based on a democratic and empathetic approach. You are a good role model by communicating with linguistic expressions in different contexts and for different purposes, and by inviting students to create and use various expressions through different aesthetic forms. You feel confident exploring and describing phenomena and relationships in nature, technology, and society, and you inspire students to move comprehensively in different environments and understand what can affect health and well-being. To obtain this position on a continuing basis, a teacher degree with specialization in afterschool programs or leisure education is required. Experience is a merit.
