The Role of After-School Teacher with Us As an after-school teacher, you contribute to a sharing culture where we collectively take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to plan and implement activities, as well as analyze and evaluate operations and work toward a stimulating learning environment based on the school's governing documents. We have a clear focus on after-school program development and student learning. In your role as an after-school teacher, you enable students to learn in ways different from the classroom and apply knowledge in practice. The after-school program complements school both in terms of time and content by offering activities that in various ways connect to and reinforce work with the curriculum's goals. Work with norms and values is an important part of the role, as the after-school program plays an important role in students' social development and learning. You will also be responsible for music instruction for grades F-3. Together with music teachers for grades 4-9, you will be responsible for activities such as the Lucia celebration and school ceremonies.
