Storvikenskolan in Brunflo is located approximately 1.5 miles outside of Östersund, nicely situated with sports facilities, a swimming pool, and beautiful forest areas within walking distance. The school currently has approximately 107 students in age-homogeneous classes in grades F-3. Job Responsibilities You teach in the classroom and participate in the school's development work and other school-wide tasks. During the school year 26/27, you will be a class teacher together with another class teacher and 2 after-school teachers from the after-school program. Both the school and after-school program are active in the PAX values concept, which aims to create safety, joy, and a conducive learning environment. We constantly work to develop learning for students and staff through structured, systematic quality work with students' goals and results at the center. This is built on collegial learning tailored to teachers' development needs. Great emphasis is placed on developing students' social skills so they can take responsibility for themselves and others. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified teacher. We value that you have good collaboration skills, a development mindset, and that you are a calm and stable person who puts students first. You are responsive to the fact that many children need support in social interaction and that we adults have a clear role in supporting this work.
