Your New Job We are now looking for you to develop students' abilities, knowledge, and confidence in themselves, as well as prepare them for life and the future. Through knowledge and creativity, you inspire your students toward engaging learning, taking responsibility, and developing themselves. You will be part of a teaching team that together is responsible for instruction in the grade level. The team includes experienced colleagues who together plan, implement, and develop instruction in a way that takes a holistic view of the student and their needs, in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. At Talavidskolan, you will be an important part for the students in our operations. Your work tasks will consist of: Taking responsibility for the pedagogical content of instruction. Independently planning, conducting, and following up on classroom instruction. Assessing students' knowledge levels and documenting their development. Working together with the teaching team or teacher colleagues to improve instruction. Developing students' abilities, knowledge, and confidence in themselves. Building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Contributing to a pleasant work environment at the school that promotes learning and development during the school day. Talavidskolan is an F-6 school located centrally in Jönköping, just a stone's throw from Lake Vättern, and offers a fantastic view over the lake. Talavidskolan is one of the municipality's oldest schools and is located on historic ground. It was here that the king changed his entourage during his Eriksgata journey. The school and area got their name from the fact that it was here where people met and talked. Approximately 450 students attend Talavidskolan from preschool class through grade 6. Of these, approximately 290 students attend our after-school program, which consists of five different departments. If you have not yet received your certification but have completed your education, you are also welcome to apply for the position. You have a good ability to both work independently and in collaboration with others. You like to take initiative for development and have the ability to carry out and complete work. You also have a good ability to build relationships with our students and their guardians.
