Responsibilities In your role as a Spanish teacher at Bodaskolan grades 7-9, you will plan, conduct, and develop instruction based on student needs. You will share a homeroom teacher position. You are passionate about developing instruction and are an attentive and enthusiastic member of the teaching team. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Spanish to grades 7-9. We also expect you to be well-versed in the school's governing documents and to have a focus on goals, results, and quality. You should demonstrate clear leadership and be able to take responsibility for the class/group, ensuring that students feel secure and have a good study environment. You have excellent leadership skills and a natural talent for building relationships with young people. You also have strong knowledge of and experience working with students in need of support, students with challenges within special needs education, students with a language background other than Swedish, and students with behavior that deviates from norms. You value and contribute to good cooperation through an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. Since close collaboration with guardians, student health services, teachers, and other school staff is required, good cooperation skills and communication abilities are essential. At the same time, you need to be self-directed, willing to take responsibility, and comfortable working independently in the role. You are flexible, have the ability to take initiative, and are willing to try new approaches to find solutions.
