Teacher Grades 7-9, Natural Sciences and/or Mathematics at Bodaskolan

Responsibilities We currently have two open positions in grades 7-9. One position includes teaching mathematics, and the other includes teaching mathematics and natural sciences. The role includes mentorship. You enjoy being a teacher and meeting young people with different backgrounds and circumstances. In your work, you plan, implement, and evaluate instruction. Therefore, we highly value your dedication, your ability to work independently, and your pedagogical expertise. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with credentials to teach mathematics and/or physics, chemistry, and biology in grades 7-9. You have excellent leadership skills and a natural ability to build relationships with young people. You also have strong knowledge of and experience working with students who need support, students facing challenges in ADHD/autism spectrum/learning disabilities, students with a language background other than Swedish, and students with non-conforming behavior. You value and contribute to good collaboration through an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. Since close cooperation with guardians, student health services, teachers, and other school staff is required, strong collaboration skills and communication ability are essential. At the same time, you need to be self-directed, willing to take responsibility, and comfortable working independently to thrive in this role. You are flexible, take initiative, and are willing to try new approaches to find solutions.
