Description We are now seeking a teacher with broad subject qualifications for grades 4–6 at Gårdstensskolan. You are qualified to teach mathematics, Swedish, Swedish as a second language, science and technology. If you also have qualifications in music, that is a merit. During the current school year, teaching will be conducted in grade 6, and for the coming school year you will be offered the opportunity to submit your preferences regarding job assignments. Gårdstensskolan moved into new facilities in the fall of 2019. Special investments have been made to develop the learning environment. Job Responsibilities The school continuously works to develop instruction and has scheduled meeting times focused on raising the quality of teaching through collaborative learning. Professional development is led by the school's lead teacher and is based on identified student needs. Each grade level has a work team consisting of a team leader and a lead teacher who together manage the team's operational and development work. The school's student well-being team is also part of the school's work team to support work with student well-being issues such as attendance and students' support needs. Your work responsibilities include planning, implementing and following up on your teaching. You will be part of a work team with teachers who teach the same student group. Since communication and documentation are part of daily work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
