Lindbladsskolan is one of two lower and middle schools with attached after-school care in Skänninge. The school has approximately 23 staff and together we are responsible for approximately 190 students from preschool class to grade 6 in the school year 26/27. In our staff group there are teachers at the beginning of their careers and teachers with many years of experience in the profession. At Lindbladsskolan, the school's teachers work in teams, we have partially renovated facilities and a large schoolyard that invites a variety of activity opportunities. Are you our new colleague? 1 position(s). DUTIES The school's goal and mission is to promote learning where all individuals are stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. We shall, in cooperation with families, promote students' all-round personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens. At Lindbladsskolan, the pedagogical staff are currently divided into 3 teams. The overarching development and planning work takes place in our teams and during joint time in the pedagogical forum, where we work together on systematic quality work at Lindbladsskolan. We are now seeking you as an elementary school teacher for grades 1-6 at Lindbladsskolan. In your work as a teacher at Lindbladsskolan, based on the established goals, you shall work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially. You shall also actively influence and encourage students to achieve the school's subject goals. In your work, you create instruction that, based on the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements in the School Act, curriculum, course plans, and subject plans. You shall be relational in your approach to students, colleagues, and parents, subject-knowledgeable, mentor students, plan and conduct instruction, and assess knowledge development. You shall be confident and comfortable working as part of a team with other colleagues, where emphasis is placed on your student engagement. You shall actively participate in the school's development work and have previously been active in primary school operations. Your work is led by the principal of Lindbladsskolan. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified teacher for grades 1-6. You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and notice and reward others' contributions. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and roles. You have the ability to speak clearly and radiate credibility and self-confidence. You have the ability to deliver presentations, lectures, and training and adapt them to the audience's needs and feedback. You have the ability to carefully analyze and assess different types of data to draw well-considered conclusions and to create functioning solutions. You have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives. You are comfortable adapting your behavior in relation to other people's needs.
