You will help create a safe, clear, and meaningful school day where students grow according to their own abilities and feel proud of their progress. At the same time, you will become an important part of an engaged team that is passionate about equitable education and a school where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. We are looking for someone who wants to teach both subjects and subject areas and who thrives in a role where you combine teaching with mentoring. You appreciate structure, clarity, and close collaboration, and you want to help develop our adapted primary school. Here you can help shape an operation where the student's entire school day is in focus and where we together create learning environments that work in practice, not just on paper. About the Position As a teacher in adapted primary school, you will have clear responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction according to the curriculum and other governing documents. Your main task will be to teach students in both subjects and subject areas as well as serve as a mentor with a focus on both academic development and well-being. You will monitor student learning, document and assess progress, and adapt instruction as needed, including through digital tools and explicit pedagogy. In daily work, you will collaborate closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and student support professionals. Together you will maintain coherence in the students' school day, plan interventions, participate in support plans, and follow up on how accommodations are working. You will maintain regular contact with guardians to make student progress visible and create a secure whole around each student. The goal is for students, based on their own abilities, to develop as far as possible according to educational goals in both academic and social areas. We have close collaboration between student support services, school leadership, and shared resources, which creates a safe and supportive environment. Additionally, we work with a one-to-one concept where each student has access to digital tools that strengthen learning. Why Work With Us? With us you get to work in an operation where your commitment directly affects students' ability to succeed in school and develop as people. We are proud of our close collaboration between different professions and our commitment to continually improve adapted primary school instruction. You will come to a workplace where questions about quality, safety, and inclusive learning environments are taken seriously, while we maintain a warm, helpful, and unpretentious tone in everyday work. We offer a work environment with collegial learning, everyday support, and an open climate where it is natural to ask for help and share experiences. You will become part of an engaged work team with close collaboration, where you get to help develop adapted primary school instruction and try out pedagogical ideas. You will receive regular discussions about your professional development and support from teaching assistants and student support professionals in work with students. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who is confident in their teaching role and who wants to give students in adapted primary school good conditions to develop. You have calm and clear leadership, are responsive to students' needs, and enjoy working in a structured, patient, and close way with students in daily work. Collaboration comes naturally to you and you contribute to an open and solution-focused climate in the work team. For the position, you must have teacher certification and a teacher's degree.
