In Götene municipality there are six primary schools with a total of approximately 1,400 students: five grades F-6 schools and one grades 7-9 school. The municipality has four urban centers with Götene as the central hub. There are F-6 schools in all urban centers. We work from a holistic perspective, from preschool through grade 9, with a focus on high results and ensuring that children/students thrive and feel good. The municipality is engaged in active development work within preschool and school, including after-school programs. Description Liljestensskolan is Götene municipality's unit for all students in grades 7-9 with approximately 400 students and 50 staff members. Our clear starting point is that all school staff must work based on the student's needs in focus. Each student should be given the opportunity to develop according to their conditions and thereby reach as far as possible. We are looking for YOU, a certified teacher who wants to develop and be challenged together with Liljestensskolan's positive and driven staff. Responsibilities Your primary tasks are to, together with colleagues in work teams and subject teams, support and challenge students in their knowledge development toward set goals. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you work together with your colleagues to develop the school based on prioritized development areas. Your responsibilities also include mentoring duties. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach mathematics and science for grades 7-9. You have excellent ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and you contribute to students' knowledge and social development in an engaged manner. You see opportunities in working across subjects in collaboration with others. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your professional practice, and you view collegial learning as an essential part of your practice.
