Teacher for Innovitaskolan St Jörgen, Grades 4-6 Join us in developing the school together in work teams with students, colleagues, and the principal. Innovitaskolan St Jörgen is a preschool–9 school with approximately 560 students. The operation consists of two parallel classes in the lower and middle grades, as well as three parallel classes in the upper grades. The school's organization is built on work teams per grade level, where the middle grade teachers jointly are responsible for all students in the work team. The student support team works closely with the work teams with a clear focus on preventive and developmental initiatives. Our mission is to create a safe and developmental educational environment that gives each student the best possible conditions to succeed—today and in the future. We are now seeking an experienced teacher with certification to teach at the middle grade level. The position includes mentorship for one class in grade 4, where you will teach mathematics, science, and Swedish. Close and unpretentious collaboration At the school, we work in teams around each grade level. This means you share teaching responsibility with your colleague in grade 4. We place great emphasis on your pedagogical competence and our shared relational approach. To give students the best possible conditions, we have organized support in the form of half-class lessons and periods with a two-teacher system. This makes high demands on your ability to collaborate; you are expected to jointly plan and structure instruction to utilize these additional resources so that each student progresses as far as possible in their development. Through regular team meetings and subject conferences, we analyze our instruction. Here we work collegially to create an inspiring, varied, and enjoyable learning environment. Your Profile We are seeking you who are a certified teacher for grades 4–6 and who have many years of professional experience. You have a solid grounding in the school's governing documents and are experienced in working with systematic quality improvement. We are seeking you who: Have a clear focus on students and see preventive and developmental work as a natural part of the school's development. Are analytical and structured in your working method. Are driving in development processes, both within subject areas and work teams. Have a good ability to build trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
