Råsslaskolan is a well-functioning grades 4–9 school beautifully located in Kolmården, just outside Norrköping with good train and bus connections. At our school, 510 students and 40 teachers work together with other school staff to create a safe environment that encourages learning. We are organized in year group work teams and divided into two school units, grades 4–6 and 7–9. These units work very closely together as one school regarding prioritized goals, educational initiatives, support structures, pedagogical forums, subject meetings, and exchange between work teams. The school is led by a principal together with an assistant principal. In school year 25/26, approximately 90% of our ninth graders achieved upper secondary school eligibility. We are now seeking an engaged middle school teacher for a temporary position who wants to be part of developing our activities and contribute to our students' knowledge development and sense of security. Your work tasks As a teacher for grades 4–6, you are responsible for instruction and planning in your subjects, which are Swedish and Social Studies. You follow up on students' development and achievement of goals in collaboration with the work team and the school's student welfare team. Mentoring in grade 6 is also part of the position. You actively participate in the school's and work team's various shared tasks where you contribute your own ideas, experiences, and commitment. Who are you? We are looking for someone who has teacher certification with authorization to teach Swedish and Social Studies for grades 4–6. You have experience with instruction and good subject knowledge. We would appreciate it if you have experience working as a mentor and good knowledge of NPF (student well-being and development). You see school development as a natural part of your work and feel confident in your teacher role. You have a desire to develop in your work, are familiar with curriculum documents, and have experience working with digital tools. You are a clear leader and find it easy to build good relationships and trust with parents, students, and colleagues. You are calm and stable and have a flexible work style where you easily adapt to changing circumstances and take great responsibility for your work tasks. You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and, in collaboration with the student, develop these. We welcome your application!
