Your Assignment As a teacher of Swedish, English, mathematics, science subjects, and technology, you will teach students in grades 4–6. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction based on the curriculum and work to ensure that all students have the best possible conditions to reach their full potential. You adapt instruction based on students' needs and abilities. You follow up, assess, and document students' knowledge development. The assignment includes mentorship responsibilities. Mentorship means responsibility for creating and maintaining trusting and professional relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You conduct development conversations and actively work to create safe structures for students' social and academic development. You will be part of a team of teachers from grades 4–6. To create the right conditions for students, close collaboration is required with the school's after-school program, other teachers, and when needed, the special education team. There is room to influence and develop instruction based on your interests, knowledge, and experience. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - teacher certification with qualifications for grades 4–6 in Swedish, English, mathematics, science subjects, and technology - experience teaching students in grades 4–6 - knowledge of current educational guidelines - good digital competence and experience working with digital pedagogical tools - strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is an advantage if you also have: - broader teacher certification - experience working with students who need extra support and special assistance - experience with mentorship Is This You? At the school, 150 staff members work with 1,230 students from preschool class through grade 9.
