Björkängsskolan is a grades 4-6 school with just under 200 students and is located in central Töreboda with good connections to nearby municipalities. In spring 2028, Björkängsskolan will move into a brand new school together with Kilenskolan, which is a grades F-3 school. The new school Kilängsskolan will be a grades F-6 school.

About you
We would like you to have a teaching degree/certification in multiple subjects for grades 4-6. In your application, please write which qualifications you have in your teaching certification. We are looking for you who are passionate about teaching and who put the student at the center.
You have an inclusive approach, are responsible, structured and quality-conscious.
You have good collaboration skills and communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every meeting with colleagues, students and parents.
You should be curious and interested in meeting and supporting all students according to their needs.
You should be able to work independently and together with your work team plan, implement and evaluate the pedagogical work for students according to the school's curriculum.
As a person, you should be confident and have good self-awareness.
You are clear in your leadership and can simultaneously create engagement and participation.
You are interested in driving pedagogical development and have an interest in research and development.
Experience with grading is a merit.
We are looking for a driven person with great commitment. We would appreciate it if you have good IT skills.
Work tasks
You will work as a subject teacher with mentorship in a grade level.
Qualifications
Primary teacher for grades 4-6, teaching certification.
Töreboda municipality offers monthly employees a wellness allowance of 1,250 SEK per year. As an educator, you eat pedagogical lunch for 25 SEK per meal.
As a teacher in education, you can expect a salary between 37,000 - 43,000 SEK depending on experience and competence; individual salary setting is applied.
