We are now seeking a Teacher for Grades 4-6 at Brännaregårdsskolan, our K-6 school with after-school care located in the northern central part of Olofström. Brännaregårdsskolan is situated in a fantastic environment, nestled in beech forest in a beautiful natural area. Proximity to nature is a natural part of the school grounds, which stimulates creativity and creative expression among rocks, trees, and bushes. The school has approximately 395 students and about 50 staff members. At Brännaregårdsskolan, staff work in grade-level teams, where educators teach students according to their qualifications and interests, creating conditions to increase student achievement through collaboration and joint assessment among educators. By leveraging each other's expertise, we become more flexible and have the opportunity to advance student learning. With us, everyone should feel comfortable, safe, and experience joy in their work. Team collaboration is characterized by a "we" feeling and a holistic view of students from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM – One house for all our students. Job Responsibilities The work involves planning learning processes together with your colleagues and implementing, following up on, and evaluating instruction in alignment with the curriculum. Together with your team, you are responsible for: - creating and developing a safe environment that attracts and challenges children's development, voice, and learning - regularly conducting pedagogical discussions and preparing, evaluating, and documenting activities - developing good relationships with children and their parents You work pedagogically with your colleagues to challenge children's learning and development. You have an inclusive approach, where you adapt the learning environment for every student's benefit. Using the curriculum as your starting point, you work with children and provide students the opportunity to develop their abilities. You foster creativity, curiosity, and in a playful and joyful manner, with learning as the focus. Qualifications Teacher's degree for Grades 4-6 with certification. Personal Qualities You are confident and responsible in your leadership role and create conditions for learning through structure and clarity.
