Instruction is designed based on the curriculum's objectives where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. In your role, you stay informed about events in the wider world and in young people's daily lives. Alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work, and as an unqualified teacher you can conduct instruction but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grades is held by a qualified teacher. Who Are We Looking For? We are primarily looking for you with teacher qualification and authorization to conduct instruction in grades 3-9 in the subject of wood and metal crafts in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at university level in the above subject. It is a merit if you have pedagogical education at university level. You need to have teaching experience and we would like to see that you have previously worked as a teacher in primary school's later years in wood and metal crafts or worked with young people 12-16 years old. Good ability to teach children in need of special support is an advantage, as is the ability to support students in handling conflicts that arise. You have the ability to adapt instruction based on each student's conditions and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, work discipline, and desire to learn. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school's world and how it is affected by the wider environment. A success factor is that you can create trustful relationships both in and outside school. Furthermore, you are a secure pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's methods for continuous development. Naturally, you use digital technology in instruction and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure work based on specified objectives. As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-versed and live up to the professional ethical principles for teachers and have the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge. For us to make a decision on your application, you must attach certificates of education and teacher qualification. If no qualified certified teachers are available, you as an unqualified person can be hired on a limited-term basis according to school law.
