Description Vilhelmina municipality is seeking, subject to necessary approvals, a certified teacher for Volgsjö School. The position is a temporary assignment for the period November 2026 to June 2027 with the possibility of extension, at 100% employment. Volgsjö School works to become Lapland's best school, which is part of the overall goal of making Vilhelmina Lapland's best education municipality. We envision a continuous thread from preschool through school and on to high school where the learning process maintains high quality and stimulates all children's and students' creativity. A school where we have high and positive expectations of ourselves and our students, and where students and staff thrive and feel safe. The school's goal is for the same teacher to follow students from preschool class through grade 3 or beyond. Together with other colleagues in the same grade level, you will be part of a work team where you collaborate on planning and other shared matters. Qualifications We are looking for someone with teacher certification with eligibility for grades 1-3. You enjoy teaching, are confident, and have an easy time building good relationships with students and colleagues. You have the ability to see students' needs and can, in consultation with other staff, take appropriate measures to support students. You are a clear leader both in and outside the classroom.
