Elementary school/adapted elementary school operations are part of the Education Department. The activities include 21 elementary schools and an adapted elementary school with a total of approximately 4,500 students. Four of the elementary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The activities also include after-school care centers. Zederslundsskolan is a grades 7-9 school in central Motala with good access to public transportation. The school has approximately 270 students. During the school day, students are often divided into different teaching groups in, for example, core subjects and modern languages. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers and work in work teams and subject teams for student development toward higher achievement targets. In recent years, the school has worked on school development in collaboration with the Swedish National Agency for Education to improve teaching. The teaching rooms are well-equipped with projectors and in some cases smartboards. Students have one-to-one laptop loans and work with TEAMS as a learning platform. Student democracy is important at the school with a well-developed student council and class councils. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Teach grades 7 and 8 in English. All tasks included in teaching work such as planning, implementation, evaluation, and assessment. Collaboration in subject teams with colleagues for equivalent quality, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Teacher's degree for grades 7-9 with certification to teach English. You take active initiative in social settings, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different conditions. You adapt your way of communicating your message to the recipient. You are stable and confident in yourself, handle stress in a constructive way, and maintain good humor under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things. Salary Form: Monthly salary. Type of Employment: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: Start as soon as possible after the recruitment process in early September, end date: 2027-06-17.
