Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service. Mellegården School is beautifully situated approximately 15 km east of Strömstad center. It is a smaller school with approximately 100 students and an after-school program with around 40 students. For us, it is important that each student reaches as far as possible in their knowledge development, feels safe, and thrives with us. All students are everyone's responsibility at our school. Our small teaching team helps each other across grade levels and collaborates in the ways we find possible. We also work closely with schools in Skee and out on Rossö. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You share Mellegården School's pedagogical approach where care is central to strengthening each student's self-worth, empathy, and sense of inclusion. Together with your team, you plan, implement, document, and evaluate teaching with a focus on each student's development. QUALIFICATIONS You are a skilled and committed teacher with teaching certification and have a clear ability to create strong, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Through your relationship-building leadership, you contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment where each student is given the best possible conditions to develop. You have good experience working with the circle model and use it consciously to strengthen students' language and knowledge development. With a structured and language-developing approach, you support students in reaching further in their learning. You are professional, reflective, and development-oriented in your role, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. Through your commitment and pedagogical skills, you actively contribute to the school's development.
