Specialist Physician Wanted for Mediro On-Call Services in Halland Mediro AB is responsible for general medical on-call services in Region Halland and is now seeking additional specialist physicians interested in working extra shifts within our on-call operation. The assignment primarily involves telephone medical advice and remote medical assessments. When necessary, home visits, medical certificate evaluations, and certification of death may also be relevant. The work is conducted mainly from home using a computer and telephone. We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine or another relevant specialty and who lives in Halland or the surrounding area. It is particularly advantageous if you live in, or have the ability to operate from, southern Halland. You must be able to reach physical appointments within a reasonable time if they occur during your shift. Work shifts are scheduled for evenings, nights, and weekends: Weekdays 5 p.m.–8 a.m. Weekends 8 a.m.–8 a.m. You will always work together with at least one other physician on duty, and support is available for questions during shifts. We offer a flexible arrangement with the possibility of a few shifts per month or more regular service, depending on your interest and the operation's needs. Compensation is determined by agreement. Qualifications You are a licensed physician with specialist competence, preferably in general medicine, emergency care, internal medicine, psychiatry, or another relevant specialty. Experience in on-call work, primary care, municipal health services, or prehospital operations is advantageous.
