Job Description As Chief Physician for Nephrology, you are part of clinic management and have a central role in leading and developing operations. Together with others in management, you are responsible for driving operations forward and ensuring effective work processes, a good work environment, and high patient safety. As Chief Physician, you have personnel responsibility for the physician group consisting of approximately 14 employees. The group includes senior physicians, specialist physicians, resident physicians, and junior physicians. The role involves a broad assignment where you alternate between strategic issues and daily leadership of operations. Through active and inclusive leadership, you create conditions for good collaboration, high engagement, and continued development within the physician group. The assignment combines managerial responsibility with clinical practice. You have an important role in driving the clinic's development work forward by strengthening and developing care processes and initiating improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities also include monitoring operations goals and results and ensuring that clinic development meets both current and future needs. To support integrated care, you collaborate with other operations within the hospital, primary care, and the university. About You We are primarily seeking someone who is a specialist physician in nephrology and/or internal medicine.
