JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a dedicated and competent elementary school teacher who wants to help create the best conditions for student learning and development. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a school where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction based on curriculum goals.
Work systematically with school improvement, including differentiated and inclusive instruction and clear high expectations.
Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with colleagues, student support teams, and guardians to promote student development.
As an elementary school teacher at Sörbyskolan, you work together with two other teachers in a grade-level team. Together, you are responsible for grade-level planning, distribution, instruction, and evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a teaching degree and certification for teaching at the elementary level. Great emphasis is placed on having strong knowledge of initial reading and writing instruction and early mathematical learning.
Has an engaged and inclusive approach to students and instruction.
Has experience with and interest in school improvement and learning communities.
Enjoys collaborating and contributing to collegial learning and wants to work in a three-teacher model.
Works systematically with follow-up and analysis to develop instruction.

It is particularly meritorious if you have both theoretical and practical experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
