The department comprises three operational areas: streets, parks and forests, and passenger transportation, plus two support functions for HR and finance. In total, we are approximately 180 employees who contribute in various ways to fulfilling the board's mission. About the Operations The Parks and Forests Department at Technical consists of approximately 100 employees. We work closely with other stakeholders and play a crucial role in creating and maintaining an attractive city. The department is responsible for managing the municipality's land, water, recreational areas, fishing, and nature reserves. We are seeking a crew leader for the Parks and Forests Department's NOA unit who wants to influence and engage his or her work team's daily tasks. In your role as a working crew leader, you will lead a work team consisting of 5 people who are participating in a labor market policy measure. On the NOA unit, you will be part of a group with 15 working crew leader colleagues and up to 65 measure-participants. Work Tasks In your position as a working crew leader, you will interact with the work team in an educational manner by leading, informing, and training these individuals, as the department's goal is for people to eventually enter the open job market. You will work to help people develop their capacity for sustainable behavioral change to strengthen their health in their life situation. You will primarily lead a carpentry team, but as a crew leader, you will work within the entire unit's operational areas, such as nature, recreation, construction, and landscaping. Qualifications We are looking for someone with secondary vocational education in a field relevant to the employer for this assignment. To succeed in the role of working crew leader, you have a genuine interest in people and enjoy spending your workday outdoors, have high social competence and are smooth in your interactions with others. You also express yourself easily in speech and writing. In your role as a working crew leader, you take responsibility and go the extra mile to make operations run smoothly, are organized, attentive, and have the ability to independently plan and carry out your work, and work well in groups. You have knowledge of carpentry with high quality in your work. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. A Class B driver's license is required.
