Our most intense (and absolutely most fun!) period of the year is approaching fast – Black Friday and holiday shopping! We're looking for a bunch of new temporary workers who want to join us on this journey and make sure every package reaches our customers quickly and smoothly. About the role Have you driven past Lyko recently? Then you might have seen that we've expanded our warehouse and office, tripling our space to 30,000 square meters! We've also installed new automation, including self-picking robots and other cool tech, which increases our capacity from handling 40,000 to a full 100,000 orders per day. How cool is that?! 🚀 The warehouse is the heart of our successful e-commerce business. Our mission is to make sure that customer gets their favorite perfume on time and the eyeshadow arrives intact when unpacked. Regardless of which task you have, you need to be thorough and efficient at the same time. Now to the important part: there are five different schedules to apply for, so read through and choose the one(s) that actually fit your life before you apply. Note that you need to be able to work all days and times during the period for the schedule you choose! • Weekday day – Monday to Friday 06:00–14:50 every week during the schedule period • Weekday evening – Monday to Friday 14:40–23:30 every week during the schedule period • Shift – alternating weeks weekday day, alternating weeks weekday evening, plus one weekend per month • Weekend day – Thursday to Sunday 06:00–14:50. Note, not just Saturday and Sunday! • Weekend evening – Thursday to Sunday 14:40–23:30. Note, not just Saturday and Sunday! In your application, you choose which of the five schedules you're interested in – maybe you're flexible and can consider several different setups. Really think it through before you choose; it helps both you and us! If you have, for example, training every Wednesday evening, it becomes difficult to work shift or weekday evening. Those details are important to consider and will help when we build our schedules. The schedule you choose is the one you need to be able to work for the entire period, and we won't be able to change it afterwards. We have the greatest need Thursday–Sunday, and we'll prioritize candidates who match our needs best. Work hours: The times are approximate and may be adjusted. Currently, it's divided as follows: Day shift: 06:00–14:50 Evening shift: 14:40–23:30 Who are you? We believe you thrive best when you're part of an engaged team working toward clear goals. We believe the key to success lies in your personal qualities, drive, and ability to solve new problems you face. You need to be able to understand and communicate well in Swedish, as both our written instructions and systems are in Swedish. Requirements: • You are at least 18 years old at the start of employment (introduction) • You have your own car and a reliable plan for how you can get to and from the warehouse every day and in all weather – it's always your responsibility how you get to work. Carpooling is of course fine, but you must be able to get to work on your own if needed. • Good Swedish in speech and writing (to understand instructions and communicate) • Valid work permit – will be requested during the process Important information about the position: • Workplace: Our highly automated warehouse at Äppelbovägen outside Vansbro • Salary: According to collective agreement, which means a salary of just over 160 kr/hour + overtime compensation. Please see the trade agreement "E-commerce and Warehouse" for more exact information regarding salary and terms. • Employment type: Fixed-term position • Start date: Starting week 42 or by agreement. Start and end dates of your fixed-term position depend on what we agree on in the end. • Onboarding: Before you start, you'll have two days of introduction where you'll learn everything you need.
