What you will do with us At the water division in Lidköping, we analyze different types of water samples, such as drinking water, well water, wastewater, and recipient water. Every week we handle thousands of samples that contribute to a safer environment and more secure society. As a laboratory technician, you will become an important part of our team and contribute to an efficient analysis workflow through sample preparation, analytical work, and handling of laboratory processes. The work is conducted according to established methods and quality requirements where accuracy and structure are crucial for ensuring reliable analysis results. You will work in a team of approximately 25 colleagues where collaboration, responsibility, and quality are in focus. To meet our customers' needs, operations run around the clock, but this position is based during daytime. The greatest challenge in this role is ensuring correct quality in our methods and analyses together with the team while maintaining an efficient sample flow. What do we offer you? We are looking for someone with upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on natural science or technology. Previous experience with laboratory work is a merit but not a requirement. Since work descriptions, instructions, and procedures are in Swedish, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are quality-conscious, organized, and have good planning abilities. You collaborate well with others and contribute to a positive team spirit while taking initiative and responsibility for your tasks.
