What you will do with us In our water division, we analyze thousands of samples every week. This could include samples from soil where the next preschool will be built, water from the tap you drink, or wastewater discharged into our seas and lakes. All to give our customers the opportunity to create a toxin-free environment and ensure safe food. This is what we call Testing for Life. We are now looking for two laboratory engineers who want to become part of our team of approximately 25 employees. As a laboratory engineer, you'll be an important part of the operation's daily analytical work and contribute to delivering analytical results of high quality within set timeframes. The role involves work in a production-oriented laboratory environment with high sample throughput and great variety of samples. Your main responsibilities will include: Sample preparation and analytical work Instrument handling and instrument maintenance Evaluation, review, and assessment of analytical results Work according to quality-controlled methods and procedures Contribute to an efficient and quality-assured workflow The greatest challenge in the role is delivering analytical results of high quality within set timeframes while sample volumes are high. To succeed in the role, we see that you have a post-secondary education in chemistry or other equivalent natural science education. It is meritorious if you have experience with laboratory work, especially from a water laboratory or other analytical operations with high quality requirements. You master Swedish well in speech and writing as work descriptions, instructions, and procedures are in Swedish. Knowledge of English is meritorious. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have the ability to plan and organize your work efficiently.
