We are seeking a Laboratory Engineer (Microbiology) who wants to contribute to high quality and secure processes in our GMP-certified operations. Our facility in Karlskoga specializes in the manufacturing and packaging of semi-solid and liquid products. The Karlskoga site offers a broad range of services, including terminal sterilization and WFI production. The facility also has specialized infrastructure designed to meet the high requirements for manufacturing controlled pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic solutions, and sterile semi-solid preparations. About the Role As a laboratory engineer, you will be an important part of our analytical quality control team. The position involves broad and independent work where you participate in planning, performing, and prioritizing microbiological analyses. The role also includes reporting and reviewing analysis results and working with production hygiene, including planning and conducting production hygiene analyses. The position further encompasses: Issuance and investigation of deviations Ordering of laboratory materials Development and updating of SOPs/analysis methods Instrument responsibility Issuance and compilation of analysis and laboratory reports Work on projects related to microbiological operations We are looking for someone who: Is positive, takes responsibility, and collaborates easily Holds a university degree in microbiology, molecular biology, or biomedicine Has experience working in a microbiological laboratory, including aseptic work, filtration, agar plate casting, and handling of sterile and non-sterile processes in accordance with GMP Has strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Welcome to become part of our team – where your expertise makes a difference!
