Description:

About AAK Our mission, Making Better Happen™, describes our pursuit of continuous improvement. AAK specializes in plant-based oils that are value-adding ingredients in a range of popular consumer products. We make these products better, healthier, and more sustainable. With our oils, we can improve the sensory properties of products—for example, by making the consistency of premium chocolate softer, plant-based burgers juicier, or low-fat pastry dough crispier. By replacing ingredients with AAK's plant-based alternatives, our customers can also optimize and streamline their production. With value-adding oils and fats, we help our customers succeed better. Customer-collaborative product development and an understanding of what "better" means for each individual customer form the core of our business. With our flexible production facilities and extensive expert knowledge, we deliver our value-adding products to a range of industries, including chocolate and confectionery, bakery, dairy, plant-based foods, specialized nutrition, foodservice, and personal care. Our 4,000 employees work closely with our customers through 25 regional sales offices, 15 innovation centers, and with support from more than 20 production facilities. AAK, headquartered in Malmö, is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and has pursued continuous improvement for 150 years. Our facility in Karlshamn is a multi-factory. All of the company's business areas are represented here. Swedish-grown rapeseed is an important raw material, while a large number of different vegetable fats are shipped directly to the Karlshamn factory from growing countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. The Nordic region is an important home market, while specialty products are exported from Karlshamn around the world. About the Position At the QC laboratory, approximately 40 people work together and are responsible for laboratory analyses of raw materials, process samples, and finished products for the entire Karlshamn facility. It is a comprehensive spectrum of analytical methods ranging from simple wet chemical analyses to complex chromatography systems. The analyses focus on both trace element analyses and finished product composition. Quality assurance of the analyses is important, and 46 methods are accredited against ISO 17025. As a colleague is moving to another position within the company, we are seeking a replacement. Together with two colleagues, you will form the contaminants group, which primarily performs analyses of MOSH-MOAH, 3-MCPD, and PAH-4. As these are advanced chromatography methods with sensitive instruments, the role also involves considerable maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment. Who Are You? You have at least a high school diploma in natural sciences or equivalent. If you have a college or university degree in chemistry, this is a merit. Several years of work experience in laboratory work and chemical analyses is also a plus. The group's working language is English, and you must be fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. To thrive in our QC department, we value precision, structure, and quality in your work. As a person, you have a desire to develop and improve both yourself and working methods, and in this role it is important that you enjoy challenges in the form of troubleshooting. You value good collaborative skills to work with your colleagues to achieve the department's goals. With us, initiative, innovation, improvements, and teamwork are in focus! Contact and Application If you want to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact QC Manager Hans Lindmark at phone 076-851 82 71 or via email [email protected]. If you have questions about the recruitment process, you are welcome to contact Karl Lindqvist, HR Business Partner via email [email protected]. Apply with a CV and a cover letter explaining why you are the right person for this position no later than August 28, 2026. We conduct continuous selection and interviews, which means the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Please note that applications are not accepted via email.
