Clinical Genetics and Pathology is an operational area (VO) within the Medical Service administration, Labmedicine division in Region Skåne, and conducts operations at four locations: Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad with a shared operational manager. Within the operational area, we are responsible for, among other things, analysis and diagnostics in pathology and cytology. We provide histopathological, cytological, and molecular pathological services to private physicians, health centers, local hospitals, emergency hospitals, and Skåne's university healthcare (Sus), and assist with specialized expertise and consultation services within the southern healthcare region. With us work nursing assistants, physicians, biomedical analysts, biomedical scientists, medical secretaries, and laboratory assistants in close collaboration with each other. WORK TASKS We are now seeking an engaged laboratory assistant for Clinical Pathology in Malmö for a temporary position! As a laboratory assistant with us, you work with sample receipt, unpacking, and sorting of incoming samples. Your work tasks also include operating laboratory instruments, managing the washing room, and contributing to the laboratory's routines and workflows running smoothly and efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you who are a laboratory assistant and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We consider it meritorious if you have worked in a laboratory or have some form of laboratory experience. As we are an operation in transition, we would like you to have an interest in participating in any change initiatives. Furthermore, the work requires that you as a person are thorough, structured, and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
