Laboratory Technician, Organic Division, SGS Linköping

About the Position At SGS, we analyze environmental samples to protect public health. We are an accredited laboratory that determines whether there are heavy metals in drinking water, cyanide in soil, or dioxins in pike, and we also investigate COVID levels in wastewater. In our Organic Division, you will work as a laboratory technician with environmental analysis using gas and liquid chromatography. Your responsibilities include everything from practical laboratory work to analyses and method improvements. You will become part of a unified team where we are a mix of experienced veterans and eager newcomers. You are calm by nature and work in a structured, thorough, and efficient manner even during high workloads. You believe it is important to meet customer needs and are quality-conscious in your work. Requirements University degree in chemistry. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as our safety regulations are written in Swedish. Office suite proficiency and IT skills. Merits Work experience from a laboratory, industry, production, or equivalent. Experience with liquid, ion, and/or gas chromatography. Knowledge of Lean.
