As a laboratory technician with us, you work with preparing samples and conducting analyses in an accredited laboratory. You become an important part of the laboratory's daily operations, and part of a skilled team working to deliver reliable analyses and contribute to the organization's environmental and quality efforts.
Examples of work tasks:
Sampling of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, landfill and process water
Perform chemical analyses of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, process water and sludge, as well as follow up control programs, operational processes and investigations
Responsible for handling and maintenance of technical analytical instruments
Perform microbiological analyses of drinking water
Prepare solutions and perform other common laboratory tasks
Participate in improvement work and maintain good order in the laboratory

We see that you have:
Post-secondary education in natural sciences
Experience working in a laboratory
Class B driver's license
It is meriting if you have:
Higher education or university degree in chemistry, biology or similar field
Experience working in an accredited laboratory
Experience with sampling for drinking and wastewater
Interest in instrument technology and analytical equipment
