A position with responsibility and a holistic perspective As pastor, you are a theological leader, manager, and representative of the employer. You have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances, and serve as a binding link between staff, management group, and church council. We're looking for a pastor who leads with sound judgment and clear direction, is present in operations, and maintains open dialogue. You make decisions even when questions are complex, follow up on goals, and work for a sustainable work environment. With respect for both history and future, you drive change and work transparently with the church council and elected representatives. You recognize the value of long-term vision work and parish development, and have the ability to hold together a work team with many different competencies. Who are you? You are a priest in the Church of Sweden and have completed, or are planning to complete, the qualification-giving pastor training. If you are not qualified yet, we offer you the opportunity of employment while you complete your qualification-giving training. You have documented leadership experience and are comfortable taking responsibility for the whole. As a person, you are confident in your role, build good relationships, and maintain focus even when the pace is high. You lead based on core values and combine pastoral care with clear employer responsibility. About Boden Parish Boden Parish consists of four congregations around the municipality – both in the city center and in rural areas. Here, there is a vibrant church life, strong diaconal work, and activities for all ages. We have an engaged team of staff with broad expertise and a stable financial foundation. Now we want to strengthen our working methods and together shape a clear and sustainable direction for the future. The Church in the Local Community Boden Parish is a natural and present actor in the local community. Through various projects and collaborations, we work closely with the municipality, associations, and other social actors. We are in a region that is currently undergoing comprehensive social transformation. New industries are establishing themselves, the Armed Forces are expanding, and people from both Sweden and around the world are moving here. In this changing landscape, there are great opportunities for the church to contribute to social sustainability, community, and support in different life situations.
