Cemetery Worker City of Stockholm, Cemetery Administration, Division for Burial Sites, Property and Cultural Heritage Stockholm City Cemetery Administration We are seeking a Cemetery Worker for the Excavation Unit, Skogskyrkogården. Full-time, permanent position. Stockholm City Cemetery Administration is the principal operator of burial services in Stockholm. The Cemetery Administration conducts burial and service operations with high ethical standards and is responsible for 12 burial sites, 13 chapels, and 2 crematoria with significant cultural and historical value. Welcome to us! The Excavation Unit encompasses the UNESCO World Heritage Site Skogskyrkogården and Sandsborgskyrkogården. The area covers approximately 120 hectares and over 108,000 graves. The Excavation Unit is a team of 12 employees based at Skogskyrkogården. Your Role The main responsibilities in this position include daily work with grave openings and restoration, ash scattering, monument work such as gravestones, and when needed, performing minor construction work and garden maintenance. During winter, scheduled on-call duty may be required for snow and ice management during weekends and other holidays. We are looking for someone who holds a B driver's license and has experience operating and handling machinery. Good computer skills and the ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office and various IT systems. As a person, you are structured and self-driven. You are flexible and have strong collaboration skills. You have the ability to contribute with ideas and solutions when others see problems. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who holds a B driver's license and has experience operating and handling machinery. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Merits Experience from similar roles in park/property maintenance, operations/construction. Certification for excavators/construction machinery.
