Female Personal Assistant in Lund. About the Job One of our members, a 27-year-old woman in Lund, is seeking new staff members as needed. Our member, who has cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities with extensive care needs and dual assistance, is looking for personal assistants who can work on an as-needed basis/as a temporary substitute. Work hours include day, evening, and overnight shifts. Our member prefers female applicants out of respect for her intimate privacy. Your role as a personal assistant to our member involves actively helping and supporting her in daily activities in her environment. This includes assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, mobility, tube feeding, and training according to specialized programs. As an applicant, you should be calm and responsible and able to work according to a model customized for the assistance user. You will receive thorough on-site orientation from a supervisor. Since our member does not have verbal speech, it is important that you are observant and able to interpret body language. You should be resourceful and active and able to organize and structure your work. Our member has dual assistance, so you will work alongside other personal assistants. It is important that this collaboration functions well, while keeping our member in focus and collaborating with her. You must be a non-smoker. SMIL, Cooperation Organization for Malmö Independent Living, has provided personal assistance for children and adults since 1990. We arrange personal assistance for people living in and around Malmö and are a cooperative with no profit motive! Of course, SMIL has a collective agreement with Fremia/Kommunal, which means personal assistants have access to benefits such as occupational pensions. We offer wellness allowances and provide staff with opportunities for training relevant to the personal assistant profession. SMIL's keywords are independence, freedom, and good personnel care. We are an IfA-approved assistance provider, with roots in the movement that once contributed to making personal assistance a possibility in Sweden.
